GFNC PLAYERS AND MEMBERS TAKE PART IN Anzac Day
GFNC players and members took part in the annual walk to the Cross for ANZAC Day this morning, to attend the dawn service.
Following the service, players and members headed back to the club rooms for breakfast served by the Golden Bulldogs.
The players sat down to hear stories from our excellent guest speaker Eddie Gardiner about past Gisborne footballers Frank Petty and Walter Warwick Fraser who served at Gallipoli. As always, Eddie was a class act and had the players enthralled in his storytelling.
GFNC recognises and remembers all servicemen and women who have served our country in the past and those who serve today. Lest we forget.
